I agree, it really is a *modded* situation i find myself in here. Why didnt Wigan win last week, would have been much easier to choose.

Have to say, Derby deserve that.

Even playing against ten men, they've continued to just sling crosses in for Dunne to head away. Corner after corner after corner wasted. Idiotic.

It's not even like Green has had a worldie. His saves have been standard.

As much as I wanted QPR to lose, I have no sympathy for Derby.

More jam than Hartleys that QPR, still should've been Wigan in the final.

There's always a bright side to QPR going I guess. That being a fine of up to £54m.

Fining a team for p*ssing away too much money seems so stupid

Bring in points deductions.

More like deny QPR promotion.

Not much you can do if they're not in the FL any more - hence the issues in the article about the FL collecting the fine.

Unless QPR file their 13-14 accounts very soon (highly unlikely) then their financial results wont be known until next season - and by that time, their PL campaign would have kicked off. And the FL have no authority to deduct PL points from them.

But by all means, criticise the punishment that they would have received from the FL had they not been promoted (that punishment being a transfer embargo).

I too would advocate a points deduction over a transfer embargo.
