I am totally amazed that the FL have seemingly allowed this London based company to take Coventry over, considering that the three men who founded the company, and the two men who are directors of it, we're all part of SISU (Coventry's previous owners). SISU have basically put the company into admin, reformed as another company, let the administrators try and get a handle on the debts, and then repurchase the club through his other company.

Ricoh Arena operators to sue Northampton Town

Hilarious how a football club can be responsible for Coventry's situation, but it doesn't surprise me given what the stadium stands for. Maybe if ACL renegotiated sensible levels of rent based on which league Coventry play in then the Sky Blues would still be playing in their home city.

MK Dons sign Ben Reeves on a free transfer, very good young player who I'm upset didn't get another contract.

I'm sure he will be a success in L1. good move.

They wouldn't have put the club in such a position if their demands hadn't been so ludicrous when Coventry City were at the stadium. ACL put themselves in this mess and now they're paying the price.

It's not the rent Coventry City Council are losing, local businesses will also suffer with the drop in foot-fall. Commonsense prevails to allow negotiations of stadium rent based on attendances and league.

Can't believe the Football Season has already started, it doesn't seem 3 months since going to Wembley for the League Two playoff final.

Forest have started the league well.

Have made some good purchases over the summer though a striker is still needed.

Can this be the year that Forest make a serious bid to get back in the Premiership. With the next 3 games agains Bolton, Watford and Wigan, we shall find out what Forest are made of.

Superb 4-0 win for Bradford against Carlisle, could've been easily double.

Nice to be in the League One playoff places even after 2 games.

Hardly makes up for last season, but good to see McManaman sent off this time for a poor tackle.

Non tackling foot was in the air hence the sending off, shame though as it was a good win of possession.

Tom Ince scores in Blackpool's 1-0 win over Watford...that should make his dad especially pleased. Good to see Ricardo Fuller playing regular football one more, too.

Charlton beat Leicester 2-1....

Hartlepool will end up thrashing someone, probably Bradford on Tuesday in the Paintball Competition.

Couple of days late like but the first managerial casualty this season goes to Greg Abbott, formerly of Carlisle United.

Rumour has it Michael Appleton has already submitted his CV :D
