UEFA Champion's League 2013/14

thought i'd start a new thread with the bigger teams coming into the tournament with the draw today
Celtic are drawn against Shakhter Karagandy, from the Kazakhstan Premier League, in the Champions League play-off.
Players will probably be a little worried about going to such a dodgy place , and the celtic players wont like going to Kazakhstan either.

Tough one for the gunners.
As for the whole competition. The normal pretenders will be there, I suppose. Think City will have a good tournament. They have the players, and maybe the manager who likes cups. And Jose would love another CL. Don't think he'll get it though.

just reading that fenerbache have a 2 year suspension that is on hold awaiting an appeal to CAS that wont be held until after the tie against arsenal

Well, Arsenal disposed of Fenerbahce 5-0 on aggregate, so no ramifications there....

What are everyone's thoughts on the group draw?

Celtic need a miracle. Chelsea and Utd will be laughing, City have Bayern, but should see off the other two, although Moscow away, could prove tricky. Arsenal could go out, and find themselves in the Europa league with Spurs.

Not too great a night for them last night, though....
United draw 1-1 with Shaktar Donetsk, but City are thrashed 3-1 by Bayern, with Joe Hart having a nightmare. Hart has not been particularly good for the past year, but of course he's the media golden boy, so criticism of him is not allowed....

I've read plenty of criticism of Hart?
