United behind at half time. They really look an average team at present.

Joel Campbell - the costa Rican of Jamaican ancestry - makes it 2-0.

On Januzaj Moyes said he'd decided to play Cleverley so left him out...

Moyes:"I decided last week I would play Cleverley and it was a time to bring [Adnan] in and out at right moments so I chose not to use him"

Moyes has to be ruthless and get rid of the dead wood in the Summer. It was a woeful performance.

The most pressing concern on dead wood is getting rid of the manager

I have a feeling United will get through, though from what i witnessed last night, they looked really poor and seem to still be going backwards. UNited squad seem very poor, but they have spent 70 million on 2 players. Judging from last nights performance they are going to need to spend about 300 million to be competitive again.

I can see an agrement between united and Moyes in the summer, and a new manager coming in. At present it seems that Moyes does not have a plan, so why let him spend.

I'm sure Moyes will get another season. United don't want to be like Chelsea, and City, although Chelsea have been successful by swapping managers.

Locking themselves into a has been era loyalty is not really something that is going to help them. The truth is Man U have backed Moyes financially, they have had the highest net spend of the season and look dramatically uncompetitive as a result.

Moyes hasnt a clue. Usually thats something that is touted by journo's looking for a proper reason to get on a coaches back when they lose, but in this instance we have a truth with it. Moyes has shown that he cant setup this team to be successful, regardless of the squad this is a team that won the league last year and has enough talent to compete at least inside the top 4. 11 points and rising away from it is unacceptable for a team that has spent £75 million.

We haven't been that good. I see a lot of people are confident we will still get through, unfortunately I think that is highly optimistic based on our performances this season. Any other time over the last 20 years I would have been pretty confident even at 2-0 down but Moyes is so clueless that it's difficult to believe he will suddenly get a grip in the next 2 weeks

Chelsea had a convincing 2-0 win, though I only saw the first half, when the goals were scored. I fell asleep in the second.... :sleep

Now, RVP puts United 2-0 up in their first half too, except it now ties Man Utd 2-2 with Olympiakos on aggregate. All to play for in the second....
:fight
RVP gets his hat trick!
