Wonder how many of the 20 Prem teams will have the same manager that started this season :

Cardiff,Fulham, Man United, Norwich, Sunderland, Swansea, Tottenham and West Brom won't = 8/20

Still major doubts over Aston Villa,Newcastle and West Ham.

and possible that Pochettino and Wenger could move on.

Wouldn't be a bad choice if he did get the job.

I see the Southampton man, and De-Boer are the two favourites.

DeBoer has been officially approached, so he is their 'main' target.

I heard yesterday Rafa was in the frame but he's 5/1.

Pochettino won't leave for Spurs anyway, there is NO way he would work for Levy and Baldini. He is heavily linked with Barca and Madrid, being at Saints is the best place for his reputation to grow whilst having full creative control.

Interesting:

Sherwood had a top-flight win percentage of 59%, which is the best of any Tottenham boss in Premier League history.

Conceeded too many goals though. They had a rather "gung ho" style under him, and had to score a few goals in those matches they did win to beat teams. Like the two Southampton games are the biggest example I can think.

Cant play with 2 defenders against top teams.

Tottenham have made an approach to Southampton to check on the availability of Mauricio Pochettino, reports the Daily Star. It is reported Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has targeted the Argentine after sacking Tim Sherwood just two days after the end of the season.

It could be a difficult move for Pochettino to resist, especially if Southampton lose two of their best players in Shaw and Lallana.

Like I said above, I can't see him wanting to work with Baldini and Levy, he had similar conditions at Espanyol with players sold under him and bought without his approval, think he'd much prefer to stay at Saints where HE is the boss.

I still can't see Shaw and Lallana going, particularly before the WC, that'd be stupid when their prices could double with a good tournament.

Pochettino's stock is high, why take a job that has "sacked after 6 months" written all over it.
