29m was quoted by one paper the amount Utd want but RM don't want to go that high.

United would love that, but can't see it myself.

Anything under that, United would surely take the chances on keeping him and him signing a new deal

If it was 20mil, and he goes on a free next year. Then including his wages and of he plays every game then De Gea would end up costing United between300,000 to 500,000 every game

Some might say after this years performances he is worth that.

Man United need success next year, their revenue streams are based in pretty fickle foreign markets that will lose interest without silverware soon. Keeping a player and paying the price, but at least having a competitive year, in the long game might mean more.

And if Real have another season like this year, then they might become far less attractive.

Chealski have still put out a really strong team.

other than Loftus-Cheek, i would have thought these next 2 games might have been a chance to give some of the youth players a chance?

Should Chealski be down to 9 men?

Great result for West Brom and the fans will be loving it.

It's not even a question. Jones bottled out of sending Terry off.

Sterling is meant to be telling Liverpool he wants to leave.

He is really far from the finished article, its a big risk for him. The talk is City would be after him, but not sure where he will fit in, other than another money mercenary.

I think Liverpool would do well to cash in on him, specially since 30-40 mil has been mentioned

Sterling needs to be careful he does not end up like David Bently....

Sterling has gone down in my estimation.

Players today in the PL have more money than they know what to do with. And they still want more.

Odd press conference after the match from Tony Pulis last night.

Lasted less than 40 seconds and was all about how great Chelsea are.

Bournemouth have decided not to take any ground expansion measures before the new season starts, I guess there was never going to be time to do much. Filling in the corners maybe but then you still had to get round the issue of the floodlights.

It means that we will enter the Premier League with the smallest ground in the history of the league and an allocation of 1300 for away fans same as this season. Season ticket sales have been limited to 7000 so there will be 2 to 3000 seats available to the general public for each game. I guess they will be placing restrictions on purchasing those tickets for those who have sufficient history, which hopefully I should be able to take advantage of. The thought was there that if they increased the capacity the resulting increased number of away fans could not be accommodated in their current segment of the east stand and the south stand would then have to be given over to them, apparently not popular with Eddie Howe or me, because that's where I go! Could also be a tactic to make some of the superstar visiting players feel like they are playing in a bit of a strange environment to what they are used to.

I hear that they have been purchasing bits of land round the current ground so maybe they are looking to build a new stadium at some point in the future dependent on how they get on next season. Perhaps they'll take stock early in 2016, see where they are in the league, and go from there.

I'm pleased they are taking a cautious approach with the expansion plans, I think the same will apply with the squad. Have to spend a bit on infrastructure to comply with certain premier league rules, but slowly slowly has to be the way to go. I'd rather get relegated the Burnley way than the QPR way.
