The Hokey Cokey is here again 2014-2015

The beautiful game!

Not been mentioned yet, but Wycombe have apparently kept an on loan defender from Brentford.

Utd's team will be interesting. Still think they need better players/cover at the back, but you could say the same for most teams, including the current CL winners.

Most of his goals were in cups and he hasn't scored since January. Doubt he'd want to be 4th striker.

He was injured a lot after Christmas. And he looked a great player, a big man who can dominate you with power, but also with a lovely touch.

Everyone's saying how poor Man Utd's defence is (and i agree to an extent) but 3 of the likely back 4 haven't even played yet this season so it's difficult to know how they'll go.

Yeah, quite liked Negredo. Aguero seems to have the odd injury, so thought he might stay and scrap for a starting place.

Not saying it's poor, just not much cover if and when someone gets injured. LVG know's more than me though, so I'll leave him to it. Utd look better off than this time last year, and have most of the season to claw back the front runners.

Ill be interested to see how Rojo goes, as he did look a standout player at the World Cup. Daley Blind seems a bit "mehh", but again, he fit into an almost watertight system in the World Cup.

Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Rojo and Rafael...... when fully fit, that's not a bad 4 man defence by any stretch....

Rafael's defending is very rash at times. Too head strong. With experience he'll get better of course.

I think Rafael is a very good player. I understand the point, he has a tendency to become too passionate in big games, but he could play in most teams in the world.

It's good that Man Utd acquired Falcao, but I still think it's a mistake to sell Welbeck....

United needed some money in, and thats why he was sold, and not sent on loan.

Uniteds wages in the last 6 weeks must have gone through the roof.

Our wages will probably be just a bit more.

We did lose Vidic, Rio, Evra, Giggs, Hernandez, Kagawa and Welbeck. That must be 700k a week of earnings there.

I don't think we needed money I think Welbeck wanted first team football and he's not gonna get it with us, it's a shame I'm more sad about losing him to Arsenal than happy about signing Falcao. If he'd gone to Spurs, I don't think I would have reacted the same.

Why didn't United offer Hernandez as part of the Di Maria deal? 30 million plus player?

More like £45m + Hernandez. Anyway, Hernandez is only on loan there at the moment.

They might also not have been interested in Hernandez then, they were strongly linked to Falcao.

Can't quite fathom why we've let Negredo go without bringing in a replacement. Aguero and Jovetic are both sick notes, whilst Dzeko can be frustratingly inconsistent.
