WIll his previous incedents that happened at club level be considered when the length of the ban is decided as they were club games and not internationals?

I think FIFA can enforce a worldwide ban (did with match fixers i think) but not 100% sure.

Thank heaven our torture is over.

Suarez up to hi old tricks again I see.

I'd love to do some dental work on him, and no I'm not a dentist.

Suarez's first bite resulted in a 7 match ban, 2nd was a 10 match ban, surely has to go up now...

Reading the on going BBC reports it seems alot of people are expecting a big ban. But interesting to note the comments about uruguay journalist laughing and making biting gestures. And also what the manager of Uruguay said:

"Uruguay manager Oscar Tabarez says he will see how he can defend Suarez. 'This is a football World Cup, not about morality'.

Maybe it wont be seen as a big deal in Uruguay?

FIFA can ban players from club football: https://twitter.com/lovefutebol/status/ ... 89/photo/1

Seems unlikely though. I'm guessing it will be an international ban only. 2 years is what's rumoured.

Rumour is Suarez's owners might have to take him to the vet to be put to sleep.

Poor Luis Suarez. Tried to give his partner a hickey and gets global condemnation for it. He must feel like a scapegoat sometimes.

Can't wait for DFM to have a say on this.

That means he'll play the next WC. Should've been a 5 year ban at the very least. Or even a life ban for that matter. The guy isn't human and football whilst not a "gentleman's game" is still supposed to be played by human beings.

he won't really care - he'll still be making his money. They should ban him from all football for a season and make sure he doesn't get paid during that time.

Do you remember when Adrian Mutu failed a drug test weeks after Chelsea paid a healthy sum for him, they sacked him and sued him, a court forced him to pay back his transfer fee to Chelsea.

Obviously this is less extreme, but if Suarez was banned for biting, there is no way he would get his wages, and Liverpool could probably sue him for breach of contract ( although he'd never play for them afterwards )
