The Kung Fu kick was worse, he kicked a member of the public, had Suarez bit a crowd member, he wouldn't play again.

Difference being Cantona was provoked, Suarez just took a nibble for no reason. Also Cantona got arrested for assault, Suarez should be done for Bodily Harm.

Stick him in the Amazon for 90 minutes, where there are plenty of piranhas.

What bothers me more than Suarez and the bite is the way Uruguay appear to be handling it, at least their press and a number of people in important positions.

It's childish at best, and the targeting of the British press is nonsense. Here in the States they wanted it handled swiftly and so it was.

I remember when Australia arrived off the plane to play a play off in Uruguay some years ago and they were punch by Uruguayan fans as the walked to their bus. What planet are these folks on? They say the bite was no big deal, are they really that sheltered?

I think now it is extremely important that Suarez apologizes before the next match.

Can't wait for DFM to have a say on this.

Seemingly FIFA won't even let Suarez move in behind my bins, because, thanks to Edam Hazards antics, my bins have been officially designated as a ballboy kicking practice area.

I'm hoping Eldis Caravan moves in instead. He was rumoured be coming last year, but failed to turn up. Bins have been too quiet, for too long, which probably means a German player is about to move in

I think I've seen somewhere that suarez reckons he fell, or tripped, or something, and the bite was unintentional

He was going to appeal the judgement, seemingly, but his dog ate all the appeal forms the night before they were due in

An England football supporter had a piece of his ear bitten off by another England fan at the World Cup in Brazil.

The assault happened during England's match against Uruguay in Sao Paulo on 19 June, British police deployed to the tournament have said.

Local officers started an investigation after the fan made a complaint but the assailant has not been identified.

Confirmation of the incident came after radio pundit Stan Collymore tweeted he had seen footage of a "fan attacked".

Six police British police officers have travelled to Brazil for the tournament. Their role is to to offer support and advice to Brazilian police and local authorities as well as overseeing the thousands of England fans who travelled to the country.

I wouldn't expect anything less from FIFA. Good judgement call that.

If a German moves in you will never see your bins again. They will treat them like their own and move in with no qualms. In the plus side at least they will be organised.

I laughed when I heard this on Sky yesterday. It was just as I had a pie in front of me. The news made me stumble and ended up landing on the pie with my teeth....several times.
