Maybe Real might consider buying some defenders for once?

I was away from the internet yesterday WOAH!   Didn't see that coming. Madrid need to take a long, hard look at their defence. Shocking performance yesterday.

Barcelona dominated Villareal throughout the game but their finishing was awful until a Messi masterclass set Sandro up for the goal. Missed 6-8 chances before that IIRC including that rebound off a Messi freekick.

reals tranfers policy is a bit of a farce, instead of buying players to fit into a successful 433 that won them 2 trophies last season, they buy kroos and james and have to shift back to 4231 which they used at the start of last and was much less succesful

lets be honest, none of carvajal, marcelo, ramos or pepe are actually good at defending

the defensive positioning of the centre backs is abysmal, dont understand why varane who is the best CB in the squad is always on the bench

:thumb Varane and Carvajal are the only 2 i rate. Ramos is a good all-round player but his actual defending isn't the best. As for Marcelo and Pepe, they can surely do better than those 2...

ramos scores goals which doesnt really make up for the amount his inept defending makes the team concede, then of course he has 20 red cards, i wonder how many points those have cost real over the years

im pretty sure marcelo should play LW tbh, he certainly has no clue how to defend

Real Madrid stuffed Deportivo La Coruna 8-2 with 7 of RM's goals from former Premier League players.

Hernandez scored a spectacular goal coming off the bench and bagging a late brace. Makes you wonder why he can't do this at Man Utd.

IMO Hernandez got a rough deal at OT. Had a stunning 1st season, and then got dropped without actually doing badly..he's always been a more than useful goal-scorer

Four more goals for Ronaldo last night. Two hat-tricks already this season. Bale scored a nice header as well.

Marcelo's dive for one of Real's penalties last night was probably the worst i've ever seen.

They showed it once on sky sports, but couldn't see much. It was bad then?

I think I heard it was Ronaldo's 25th hat-trick for Real Madrid. That's not bad at all.

He was at least a yard to the side of the defender when he fell over.

How is he not punished for that? I know the ref is the wrong side of the defender, but hes got to be close enough to see that Marcelo is a long way from the player?

Comfortable wins for the big 3 this week.

Barcelona top the table (still haven't let in a goal!), Atletico 2nd, Valencia 3rd but have a game in hand, Sevilla 4th with Real Madrid in 5th.
