Can't stand Ronaldo. His reaction to Arbeloa taking his goal: https://vine.co/v/e7m25KmjDue

I love Ronaldo. His ego has heavily increased at Madrid though. But don't know a United fan who watched his rise who doesn't love him still. I prefer him as a player back in his United days to now where he's all about the goals.

He just seems annoyed at his own performance in this.

Ronaldo just missed a penalty too. :party

Diego Alves with the save, best penalty saver in the world! His record is nearly at 50%.

2-2. Valencia bottled it. Negredo messed up 3 easy chances at the end.

Anyway that should be the title race over now.

Bale is lucky he doesn't have Strauss as director or he'd be gone.

Madrid take the lead, but so do Barcelona.

You can guess the scorers.

Barca win La Liga.

Meanwhile Ronaldo scored another hat-trick for Madrid.

I know most of you don't care about La Liga outside the big two but the relegation battle is really exciting this year.

16 Granada 34 pts
17 Deportivo 34 pts
18 Eibar 32 pts
19 Almeria 32 pts

Granada play Atletico (3rd), Deportivo play Barca (1st), Almeria play Valencia (4th) while little Eibar, who have won 1 game since January, play bottom placed Cordoba at home.

Xavi has confirmed he will be leaving Barca at the end of the season. He will join Qatari side Al-Sadd.

The problem is that when they go through every big name coach, eventually they will run out of suitable candidates. I'm actually surprised anyone would take this job. At most it will last 3 years, but in reality 1 year. What ever you achieve will be forgotten by the next year unless you achieve the same which is winning the Champions leagues and topping the domestic league. You have to play the players bought for you and take the blame when those player fail because you can't fit them into the team.

Some time in the next 2 years someone is going to have to make the decision that a team should not be built around Ronaldo and that maybe its time for a champion team with a legacy as opposed to a team of champions who occasionally dominate for a season but really don't justify the investment and hype.

I think its been proved that if Real come knocking, they get exactly who they want. I think its an ego thing, managers see this squad and are convinced that they are the ones to have the lasting success and legacy. I don't think any manager goes there thinking they will end up on the slag pile, and I also don't think any player joins thinking they will be the ones being booed.

I guess that being signed as "the one" for the year and turning up to a stadium of 60,000 people for your official signing is a nice feeling, one that people cant turn down.

I think Rafa's stock had significantly lowered in the footballing world, sounds like a fall guy waiting to happen.
