Thing is we all knew it, and continued to watch. I stopped watching cycling and I may have to give up on the one game I thought I could never stop watching.

The headquarters of Fifa are in Switzerland where the Russians keep all their ill gotten gains, so they're unlikely to attack there. Mind you a lot of cheering would be heard if they did.

Taking the World Cup from these countries would play into their hands politically. Much better to make sure they don't get profit and a new cleaner FIFA reinvests all profit in charities in the country to make sure that there is no double dipping on the stealing money front.
