Hopefully the sponsors will see sense and force the issue eventually. Otherwise Blatter just goes about things as if he can do no wrong. He's like Berlusconi.

Michele Platini also banned for 90 days. Confirmed by FIFA despite him denying this a couple of hours ago suggesting it was part of a smear campaign.

UEFA continues to support platini...you know you are the lowest of the low when even FIFA has a better moral stance than you.

Blatter appealing to fifa's appeals committee against his 90 day ban by fifa's ethics committee. Maybe more of his dodgy mates are on the appeals committee and he'll get off.

Farce upon farce upon farce. Scrap the whole bloody organisation and start again.

All is well for Sepp though. I see that none other than Bernie Ecclestone has come out in support of the beleaguered one.

I am just waiting on a statement from Juan Antonio Samaranch - then Sepp will be in the clear.

Sepp Blatter coming out with some belters, US only taking proceedings against FIFA because they didn't get the 2022 World Cup, the Brits are bad losers because they only got one vote and were eliminated at stage one and even though they invented the game no one wants the World Cup held there, and that Russia were all ready in place for the 2018 World Cup before the vote even started. He's a card.

Blatter doesn't seem to realise we only got one vote because we didn't try to buy votes like other countries did.

Blatter might be gone soon but who is to say the new guy is going to be any better?

Apparently its all Platini's fault because he was originally backing the US for 2022, but changed his mind to Qatar, wonder what made him do that?!
