If true then the millions of pounds we (and no doubt other countries) spent on bidding for the cup was a complete waste of time.

Good old FIFA. Showing us all a giant middle finger.

Now there would be reason for those boards to sue FIFA.

Lets hope they do

Im really confused as to how he thinks that is not incriminating himself.

"Nah guys, the vote wasnt a set up, we all decide way before the vote that Russia was going to win because they paid us truck loads of money..... there was nothing, I repeat nothing, wrong with the vote"!

He clearly thinks he's invincible or has done a deal to make sure he doesn't serve the 257 year sentence his mounting list of misdemeanors suggest he should if proved.

It is funny to read the comments he is coming out with. He just wont go away, and Fifa must be cursing.

He can not really believe everything he says. Someone must be having a word in his ear to let him know that he just keeps digging himself deeper.

Greg Dyke has the FA's lawyers going over Blatter's comments with a fine tooth comb to see whether there is a case for getting back the 21 million quid spent on our 2018 bid.

No win no fee?!

FIFA and the FA may well come to a secret agreement before it gets to court. The former are very good at making those sort of agreements!

I'm surprised the papers haven't jumped on his comments that the WC was virtually handed to Russia regardless of the voting.

I think it's got to a stage where we've had so many unbelievable revelations everyone including the media has got pretty blase to it all.

Blatter has had a mini breakdown. I thought BMW had put more reliability into that car.
