Sunderland are not a bad team, unlike Everton who have given up on this season.

Not with Sam in charge now. And not with some, er, average looking sides on their way up to the PL.

Sam will have Sunderland safely tucked away in 14th next season.

When I saw them in September they were absolutely diabolical in every department. I had them down as an average Championship team, and said at the time that they were nailed on bottom. But along came Allardyce, and slowly but surely, he tightened them up at the back, and turned them into an effectively functioning unit, that once again has scraped out of the bottom three at the death.
