"Manchester United’s final Premier League fixture of the season at Old Trafford was abandoned following the discovery of ‘an incredibly lifelike, but non-viable explosive device’ inside the stadium. Following a controlled explosion of the device - understood to have been a mobile phone taped to a gas pipe in toilets in Old Trafford’s North West Quadrant - by the Royal Logistic Corps Bomb Disposal Unit, Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the suspect package was a dummy bomb, accidentally left behind after being used in a training exercise involving sniffer dogs and run by a private security company."

Well done to United though. Refund of a ticket and the opportunity to watch the rearranged game for free. Cant complain at the football club for that.

Why didn't someone from the security company twig when all this was going on, it was on national news from about 2pm, and then come forward?

Obviously the problem sounds like it is not of their making, so to voluntarily give the supporters a free ticket for the game and a refund I think is a kind gesture. Bournemouth fans will lose out, you would hope a gesture from the company responsible would help them to go or to compensate them, but you cant expect Man United to fork out even more for it can you????? Apparently they have even given money to season ticket holders too?

Fairly easy for Utd tonight.

Quite a lot of empty seats.
