Looks like its gone through now. Good signing for United that.

Real apparently want 63 million for Sergio Ramos.... that is absolutely CRAZY!

It's because they know nobody will pay that for him and they can keep him.

Ramos to United is looking a bit more promising now.

Followed by a second, unimproved offer of 28 million quid. :clap

United are doing a Real Madrid on Madrid.....

It's clear Ramos wants to go but surely Real Madrid won't accept anything below £40m.

Or is Ramos just playing hard ball for an improved contract?

This is my thinking.

Not sure it is the best buy for United either. 30 million on a player with 2 years left on a contract and is 29.

Scores a fair few goals, but how good is he really as a central defender?

I would also expect him to get few more red cards in the Premiership.

Maybe LVG is looking to play him as a holding midfield player :rasta

Or as Falcao's replacement, he'll probably get more goals.

Not sure Ramos wants a new deal at Real Madrid, the rumours that he (and others) are unhappy at the club are spreading like wildfire since the turn of the year, and Ramos apparently now finds himself in the dog house over comments made in support of sacked manager Ancelotti. Even some Real players have hinted or spoken out (Ronaldo being one) about the treatment that Real are dishing out to Ramos and Iker CAsillas in particular, which both the former President of the club and Ronaldo have publically said is unfair.

Not sure this is a money thing. Ramos has indicated he is upset that, while all other players are given deals at the two year period before contract termination, a loyal and undying servant of the club in his case was not, and told he would not get an extension. I don't think he even wants a pay rise, just a commitment from the club they still want and rate him.

I think its more the fact he is wondering why the club seem to consider him more expendable then other of his team mates

Pearson has got the boot. No longer has a viable relationship with the board apparently...even they think he is a total prat

He did really well keeping them up. Wonder who they will get in?
