Capital One Cup 2015/2016

The beautiful game!

I thought the same.

Maybe one of the better English players in the Everton squad, but compared to Osman and Cleverly that ain't saying much.

He did have a good spell a few years back as a very reliable England player, but that's about it.

He was being talked up as a future great England CB when he was at Brighton. He does receive a lot of undue stick, even if he isn't one of our best ever players.

Football managers love to moan about decisions but when the discussion of more use of technology comes up they are among those against its use.

I wonder what Roberto Martinez thinks about the use of technology now.

This could go all the way

and Liverpool equalise!

That gilt edged chance from Sterling moments ago would have been a different story, how much did Man City pay for him :halo:

On a different day we would have won this game 3 or 4 nil. Sterling's diabolical finishing and Oliver's dreadful refereeing have handed the cup to Liverpool.

Not content with helping Liverpool get £50m, Sterling also feels like he needs to give them the League Cup as well.

Even putting his misses aside, he's up against a defence which includes Kolo, Lucas and Milner!

I'm not sure who's failed to deliver for their respective new clubs more, Sterling or Lallana.

Mignolet has been rather inspired, considering his Premier League form is questionable.

Everyone was raving about his performance on Wednesday against Kiev. I thought he had an okay game, nothing special just did what he was supposed to do.
