With the money Derby have spent, you would think they needed to go up this year. Looks a little tougher for them now.

Can see a few players moving on in the summer.

You felt it was Derby's last chance this year before that squad got carved up. How they havent gone up in the last three years is a wonder.... especially lat year, had by far the best team. Maybe it was Martin's injury last year that messed them p8

Actually looking at how much Derby have spent this season, if they don't go up, they will probably be in a similar position to Forest with FFP. Can not see how they would not be after spending 26 million

They have enough assets to sell to make money. Will Hughes wont be there next year, even if they go up

Hughes will be gone.

Will be interesting to see if there is a player clear out.

George Thorne has a top level career ahead too judging on what I see. Think he has real talent

Not seen Derby play much at all this season. I know they did spend a bit on Thorne and that he has been rated by a few sheep supporters.

My brother works in Peterborough and goes to see the Posh a lot. He was on loan down there for a bit, and he said he was the best player that he had seen at that level by a long way.

Weirdly, West Brom really rated him but then sold him?

Did seem strange, though if not getting enough game time then the player might want to head of. Will be interesting to see if he stays over the summer. Would any team higher up take a risk on him?

I believe Newcastle tried to sign him before, and that Everton were rumoured, but both clubs are now in different positions.

That's the gamble you take when go all out for promotion.

We got slammed with a 6/7 million fine this season for a net overspend of over 30 million in our promotion year to the Premier League. Leicester overspent by about 55 million the year they got promoted, it was well worth their gamble!

So when do you guys have to pay the fine, when you get relegated back into the football league? Or is it paid over this season?
