Our first win in 11 competitive games. Our last win came against Rotherham in March. Now we beat them again, got to feel for Rotherham.

Carrying on from a strong finish to last season. If Gillingham can maintain this upward trend in momentum, maybe just maybe they can occupy a promotion place.

This is probably the most open League One i've known, no side really stands out for promotion or even relegation. Newly promoted Scunthorpe and Bury are spending money, Burton Albion have a good structure in place. Of the three relegated sides, Wigan Athletic might have the most financial clout, but are practically assembling a brand new team for the third season running.

Decent showing of football between Bradford and Sheffield United earlier today. Shame Bradford threw away a 2 goal lead to draw 2-2, but quite pleased with the performance although the long ball was used too often and that sapped up Bradford's energy levels.

Don't think Sheffield United are anything special, defensively they look suspect and look exposed when defending set pieces.

I see Peterborough have appointed Graham Westley as their new manager. I hope their fans are patient because Westley's style of play is not what you call enterprising.
