Football League 15/16

The beautiful game!

Football League 15/16

Well with the Ashes still being alive for another day at least, The Football leagues have started for the new season.

Brighton vs Forest. 0-0 at half time, but, with how the teams i support are playing at the moment, I suspect Brighton to put 5 past us in the second half.....

Joint top, yuppie.

I see Derby are joint favourites for the title. It'll be interesting to see how their new man gets on in management.

Derby are paying their manager one hell of a wage. Seems like they are gambling for promotion this year, obviously i would love to see them fall short :rasta

A great start for Wycombe, including a clean sheet. Don't know what to expect this season. We've lost two CB's, who helped made us hard to beat last year. Mid table mediocrity will suffice.

After beating Sheffield United 4-0 I'm enjoying the moment as it will probably be the only time we are top of the table this season!

Having said that Justin Edinburgh seems to have had quite an impact and made what appear to be some useful signings.

Anyone watched the new Football Highlights programme on Channel 5?

Can only describe it as car crash television. Far too much emphasis on presentation and not enough on what matters most and that is the days action.
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

I didn't see it but it doesn't surprise me. I hate too much chat. In fact I could happily do without it and just show all football.

The League Cup programme on Wednesday was a huge improvement, much more emphasis on showing goals.

Lets see what is served tonight.
