No Juan Mata either.

My wife bought my son the Panini sticker album yesterday as a reward for doing well in his Maths test.

Very clever Finchy, duplicate posts, I like it!

At what stage do you stop buying the packs and then go on to eBay to select all the stickers you haven't got?

Down to the last 50?

Another thing ruined by the internet

When I was young you ended up with a ton of swaps and about 30 short in the book (unless you sent away for the rest). Now just go online and ask if anyone wants certain ones.

50p a packet now. Used to be 5p for 6 stickers. That was around 1978 when I did Argentina WC one.

I think they were 5p when I was little. My dad used to buy me 5 packs on a Saturday morning. The anticipation was immense. Then the come down when you got another Paul Mariner to go with the other four you already had.

I remember doing a sticker album at some point during the seventies, but I think it was div one.

Also vividly remember collecting cards of div one footballers in the 1972/73 season with the disgusting flat bubble gum. Used to stick them all in a scrap book.

Took it to school one day having built up a decent collection. Left it in my desk at break time, came back and some thieving b@stard had removed about 30 of the cards leaving gaps everywhere.

I was devastated. I'm still not over it to this day!

Cards from the seventies and eighties were dominated by hair!
