Premiership 2016/2017

The beautiful game!

Sounds like Bmouth fans can relax - unless England have a shocker over the next few weeks and the FA come calling - it seems like AVB is our man. Koeman to Everton pretty much a done deal now.

Southampton would be a side ways move for Eddie Howe so he's unlikely to take it!

Giggs has left Man United.

Once United put Jose in charge that was always going to mean the exit for Giggs.

Shame for United as it was meant to be Giggs that got Rashford into the team. It is the last link from the glory years and Giggs bleeds United. Wonder how the fans will react. Not sure he will be a good manager, but i thought the same about Zidane and he is doing a good job of it at present.

Wonder if Bobby Charlton has any say left as well?

Speculation that Giggs might get the Bolton Wanderers job.

IIRC he almost left Man U as a player to join them about 10 years ago. Can't remember the circumstances though.

United sign another forward Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.

Suddenly a lot of options up forward for United. Guess the questions now being asked will be where will Rooney play, and how much game time will Martial and Rashford get.

United also need to keep and eye on Mendes and Jose.

These are what Falco cost Chealski last year

£7.28million: The total amount in wages picked up by Falcao during his year at Stamford Bridge
Ten: The number of occasions the player made it onto the field in the Premier League.
228: The number of minutes of playing time Falcao racked up for the Blues.
£32,000: The cost of each minute he played in the PL for Chelsea.
Five: The total number of shots he had on target (nine more blocked, or off target)
£1.46m: The cost of each direct shot on goal (£809,000 per shot inc blocked, or off target efforts)
Two: His total chances created at Chelsea
127: The number of times he touched the ball
£57,000: The cost per touch in a Chelsea shirt
63: The number of successful passes Falcao made
£116,000: Cost per pass in a Chelsea shirt

The only reason Chealski signed him is due to Mendes and Mourhino. No premiership club would have touched him after the season he had at United the season before.

Bebe springs to mind as well. Good luck United.

Don't think Rooney will get in the team, they're still looking to sign Pogba, although he may be Madrid bound.

I'm going for Mkhitaryan to be the PL signing of the summer. Cracking signing by Utd (unlike that waste of money egotistic flat track bully).

No surpirise they signed Mkhitaryan considering a website gaffe which already had his name on Utd's away shirt.

Martial and Rooney will still start. Mkhitaryan will just replace Mata on the right of attacking midfield.

Rashford will probably be the 2nd striker. Too much for him to be number 1 striker at his age anyway.

At present these are the attackers United have.

Zlatan, Rooney, Martial, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Young, Mata, Lingard, Mempis, Januzaj, Wilson.

Jose will need to unload a few of them. Just feel though that Rashford, Lingard and Januzaj wont get much of a chance this coming season.

Has anyone come in asking about Mata yet?

I reckon Mata will be gone soon. JM got rid of him at Chelsea amid rumours that they didn't get on. I suspect Mata, Blind & Fellaini may all have played their last game for Man Utd.

Also wonder about Memphis. Not sure he will be welcomed by Jose.

Presently the wage bill at United must be massive.
