Just found out that Chelsea's Marcos Alonso once killed a woman in a drink driving incident in 2011.

Surprised that's never been brought up before.

Never knew about this, so just went and read a bit about it. Seems that he did not spend anytime in jail which seems strange. I think if this had happened in the UK then he would have had to have spent some time in Jail.

Different laws in Spain. But if driving drunk at twice the speed limit and then crashing which causes the death of a passenger, i would think that in a lot of places that would result in some jail time.

What a complete and utter tosser.

He should be treated with utter contempt for the rest of his days especially as he does not appear to have been punished in any way.

Drink driving sickens me especially as my best mate at school was knocked off his bike and killed by a drink driver.

He'd certainly be seeing a prison cell in this country, and rightly so.

Spain must be really relaxed on their laws now. I remember 20 years ago if you took your car abroad on hooliday you had to get a Green Card from your insurance company but if you went to Spain you also had to get a Bail Bond because at the time if you had a car accident over there the authorities had a tendency to throw you straight in jail and sort out the liability later.

Budget, has Wilshere been a good move for Bournemouth this season?

Overall probably not.

Gives the ball away alot, hasn't had the influence i thought he would have had. Probably needs better players around him, which suggests he may not be as good as people think he is.

Started off okay but in recent times has barely started and when he has hasn't had great effect.

Has come off the bench and had some effect, but i wouldn't be overly disappointed to see him on his way at the end of the season. Big wages off the books and all that.

And he's left WHL on crutches. He's never going to stay injury-free.

Thanks Budget.

Was Bournemouth paying all of his wages?

Just over a year left on his contract, reckon the Gunners will be happy to take anything for him over the summer.

I wonder if he might go the same way as Lee Hendri or Jody Morris.

As far as i can remember, we are paying all his wages, the deal wouldn't have gone through otherwise.

Not far short of 100k a week which is ridiculous when you think we were broke not too many years ago. Then there was the signing on fee.

He started the game today and had zero influence except for contributing to a couple of the Spurs goals.

And when is he going to score?! I can't see it happening.

After the Liverpool result United will really need to win this game to challenge for a top 4 spot.

I wonder how many times Hazard will get a kicked today?

United win just might make the top 4 more interesting, an maybe give Spurs a little bit of hope.
