Wouldn't have made any difference, he would have succumbed to the general ineptitude of the rest of the idiots.

Probably would have put a few of those chances missed away. Englands strikers did not seem to know how to put the ball into the back of the net.

interesting that Kane was anonymous yesterday. Sure he was isolated, maybe still suffering from the summer display?

Jermaine Dafoe is a good finisher, but he is the most limited allround striker option in the premier league. Contributes very little elsewhere on the pitch.

He looked utterly burnt out in the EURO's. Not suprising after the couple of years he has had playing in every game, including UEFA cup games. Tottenham have no other decent striker though, so the rest he needs he might not get.

Kane looks the real deal for me.

I said 3-1 to Man U to my brother last week.

Start with a loss at home, same as last season, Villa then! We then picked up our first win away to West Ham, surprise surprise away to West Ham next week.

I won't get to see any games this season because they haven't expanded the ground and I needed to have been to at least 12 games last year to get first divvy on tickets. I only went to 6 so would have to wait until 2 weeks after a game to get a ticket!

Financially wise it was great to stay up and secure the dosh from the new TV deal. However, the only chance I have of going to see a game in person again is if they get relegated. Catch 22!

This is probably going to be a problem for Spurs, very reliant on a small group of younger players. Even with the new money coming in, Levy seems to not want to spend it on wages or players. Spurs could be left behind this coming year.

Just noticed Liverpool beat Arsenal 4-3 at the Emirates.

Might have to tune into MOTD2 except I probably won't bother because of the other result.
