Are you sure?

No lingering disputes over image rights or what model Captiva he's going to be driving?!

Who will Jose be sniffing around?

Harry Kane?
Stones?
Griezmann?

The trio of Frenchman.... Varane, Pogba and Griezmann.....

Daniel Levy would price Harry Kane out of the market, he never lets players go without making financial sense. I personally think Kane will be bought as Madrid's major signing this year.

Benzema could be the bargain choice, but then again there is a risk of his impending court case that his about to do up to 4 years bird.

As for Stones, see comments on the international football thread. He is so over-rated, I dont see the point of buying him at huge prices. Let him wait it out at Everton and if he is the real deal, the price wont go up from the quoted 50 million anyway..... two years time, two years less on a contract, probably get him at a cut price rather than the free transfer scenario.

Wasn't Jose after Stones when he was at Chelsea?

Pogba would be a great buy. Break the bank stuff.

Yes, Chelsea under Mourniho approached Everton but wanted to pay £20 million.... I think Everton wanted £50 mill odd.

I think Griezmann would be the best buy, simply because A.Madrid make no bones about the fact they are a selling club. He would be available, the question is would any of them go to a club without Champions League?

Mourinho sold Mata to Utd when he was at Chelsea.

Wonder if he will be out of favour with the Special One now.

How does that Chas n Dave song go again? "Spurs are on their way to Wembley..."

It seems they are as well. All home CL games next season and all home games period the season after to be played there.

The problem with Jose is that when things are going good, all is well. When they aren't he chucks his toys out of the pram. That incident with the female physio has changed a lot of people's opinions about him.

Time will tell I suppose. Trouble is if Jose fails...who next?

IMHO, that's exactly the issue...his combative managerial style can bring out the best in players for a season or two, but then it can lead to meltdown in the dressing room, as it did at Chelsea this season.

Man United would take a season or two in the Champions League and a title race, at the moment, surely?

Lots of talk that Koeman will soon be announced as Everton's new manager. With a £100m transfer budget plus whatever they may raise in player sales this summer.

If it happens, well we have history with thinking about appointing Howe in the past...
