Steve and Derby part ways again, Dam.

Looks like Derby might well get Rowett in, which i really hope does not happen. Though FFP must be about to catch up with them, :rasta

Didn't Derby have a decent run earlier in the season which got people thinking maybe McClaren is a decent manager after all.

Nope.

Anyone think Huddersfield may upset the apple cart?

When he returned they strung a few results together, and started knocking on the door of a play off place. Not now.

Will be unlucky to miss out on an automatic place.

Can see Leeds getting through the play offs though.

I still find the top of the Championship and playoffs more interesting than the top of the Premier League!

Yeah, the Championship is a hugely competitive league, not the same teams always competing.

A Huddersfield v Leeds playoff final would be my worst nightmare

Leeds in the Premier League would be bad news for West Yorkshire football, clubs in the area are benefitting from increased attendances partly with the demise of Leeds. Harrogate Town are a completely different club 10 years ago, their stadium has been modernised and getting several hundred attendances regularly. Guiseley's attendances are hitting 4 figures and are looking good in retaining National League status.

10-15 years ago, Leeds shirts would be frequently seen in the Bradford area but now it's predominantly Claret & Amber (as it should be, or at least colours of Bradford Park Avenue and Bradford Bulls). I don't think Bradford City would get big attendances if Leeds were still a Premier League club even with good priced season tickets.

Great ending to your game.

Nothing beats an last minute goal at home to grab a draw or a win, especially in a derby. A Derby derby!

A draw in those situations feels like a win.

Forest still in deep trouble. If not for that last minute goal, and one at Preston, Forest would have been in the bottom 3 :facepalm

A really bizarre situation at Newcastle.

Newcastle score from a penalty but ref disallows it. Then he gives Burton an indirect free kick near the spot. Whst for? No one seems to know. If it was encroachment then the penna should have been retaken.

Ref has a shocker.

The ref has held his hands up and admitted he got it wrong.
Wonder if he'd done that had Newcastle lost or drew.

A statement made from the Professional Game Match Officials Limited

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39426682

Seems that Stroud has misapplied the ruling of enroachment during a penalty, indeed a respotted penalty should have been applied. Poor man will be traumatised at making the howler.

It's a nonsensical decision. Anyone who knows anything about football knows that encroachment is a retake.

Something doesn't add up.

Ritchie, player of the season? He's the main reason why i want Newcastle to go up.
