The beautiful game!

They just aren't a very good team.

It may come in time, I just have this feeling it won't.

The hammer keeper should have been sent off, for his stud up, malicious challenge on Zlatan.

Yep.

Didn't see a slow mo, but in real time it was one of those situations where the striker nicked it over the keeper before an inevitable collision. Didn't appear intentional to me, and as the keeper was on the ground his feet might well have been in a protective position.

Besides no one gets sent off when a goal results out the challenge. A bit like a defender stood on the line trying to stop the ball going in the net with his hands but doesn't quite manage it.

The slow motion replay does the keeper no favours. I thought it was an intentional kick.

I am thankful for the 120 minutes of play though.

Forest might have a chance on Friday.

United have got the best draw of the Semi Finals, should be in the final unless Hull can do the unthinkable.

The other game is Southampton vs Southampton old boys.

I wouldn't say we necessarily failed the gentle test. We made it look like a Championship game, just one of those where we failed to put our chances away! Exactly the same story against Blackburn.

Trouble is this competition is now at the dreadfully dull two legged affair stage.

Seem to remember the League Cup originally being a 2-legged competition, at least it was in the early stages 20 years ago.

Nowt wrong with a 2-legged semi-final, eliminates the luck element and if anything makes the football more exciting. Fond memories of the 2012/13 League Cup you see :D

Hull City is in such a mess that they have to play tom huddleston in central defence.

I wish Rooney would break this bloody goal scoring record.

Its all anyone talks about.

I bet even Man U fans are bored by it. Nah probably not, they're the epitome of boring football supporters.

Half of them have never set foot in Manchester!!
