It can work both ways. You could go on a cup run and get a few injuries, hindering your chances of survival, or winning the league, or you can as Alviro points out, gain some confidence by it.
I'm in the latter camp normally, but as far as Wycombe are concerned, I really don't care about the League Cup!

Yep, a can be a luxury when you're a mid table team. An unwanted distraction when survival is the goal.

I see Shane Duffy scored at the right end for Blackburn yesterday.

Winning goal in extra time too.

Forest are through to the 3rd round.

4 wins in 6 for us now. Great start for us, but sadly not good enough for some fans. :facepalm

Quite a low crowd at Accrington Stanley despite this being a local derby against Burnley.

Around 1300 home supporters of the overall capacity, can only think it's down to admission prices (£20 adults/£15 concessions/£10 U12s). Huge financial commitment at short notice and during the summer holidays too.

Will be interested to see how Forest go against Arsenal this evening.

Philippe Montanier has got us playing some exciting footy this year. A lot more attack minded and certainly seems to trust the players in that. Defense aint great, but we are much better to watch and their is real optimism around the club for the first time since Fawaz came in.

There is a belief from many of the fans that we can win tonight.

Sounds like there has been a bit of chaos down at Bournemouth regarding collection of tickets.

Wonder if Budget is down there in amongst it all?

I haven't been at all this season, but as you say a shambles on and off the pitch last night.
