Real become the first team to successfully defend a CL title.

It's quite surprising when you consider that in its previous guise of the European Cup which started in the 1950's that was defended successfully on 12 occasions.

They won the League, the Supercup and the Champions League, but missed out on the Copa del Rey, not good enough!

Watched the game in a pub in Oxford, which was full of Italian and a few Spanish. Great atmosphere, but I won't be able to give a full in depth tactical analysis of the game!

Before the game, I predicted a tight 1-0 win for Juve, but Madrid took their chances.

So do we now consider Zidane the best manager on the planet? Won just has many champions leagues as Jose and Pep and only been doing the gig for just over a 16 months.

Nah. With RM the engine drives itself. They'd still win it even if Big Sam was in charge of them.

Big Sam might get it when ZiZi burns out.

It's a bit early to start comparing Zidane with the modern greats, such as Jose, Pep, Ancelotti, And Fergie, even though he has defended the CL.
