Barcelona have started well with a 6-2 win over over Real Betis. Luis Suarez starting where he left off with more goals, 3 in fact. Messi backed him up with a measly two.

Just noticed this.

They'll probably still end up winning 6-3.

Celta held on but Barcelona had enough chances to win it.

No great surprise, they beat them 4-1 last season.

Watched a bit of the Real Madrid game earlier, third draw in a row for them in the league, my word they were poor. Ronaldo is turning into a right miserable b@stard, and will under no circumstance ever pass the ball to a team mate within striking distance of goal even if he's in a much better position.

Real are missing Benzema, who barely looks arsed at the moment

That guy never looks arsed, I don't like him at all.

Haven't seen him have a decent game in the past two years, he needs an open goal six yards out to score.

Real Madrid will be top going into 2017, after scoring 2 late goals last night to seal a 3-2 win and reach 35 successive games unbeaten, a club record. Zidane hasn't done too badly since he arrived.

Yesterday's game they were without Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale, but with multi million pound replacements all over the shop it is no great hardship.

Goal line technology can't be far away in la liga now.

Barcelona were denied a goal by the ref that was well over the line.
