Cambridge v Leeds would make for a good TV tie - Cambridge for outplaying Coventry in Round 2 and Leeds seem to be in a decent run of form.

It would only be good if Leeds lost.

The match tonight was dire.
:sleep
Plymouth finally beat Newport deep into extra time with a penalty. Liverpool won't be losing any sleep over these opponents.

As per usual we have absolutely no interest in the FA Cup whatsoever making 11 changes again. Most of the team have hardly kicked a ball this season so it will be no surprise if we comfortably lose.

Just gone 1-0 down!

TBH I have no interest in this tournament either, like the international breaks, an annoying distraction to the league season.

I can see why a team struggling to stay up might rest some players, but not Bournemouth. Imagine what a cup final or even semi would feel like.

We're a long way from being safe, and a sudden poor run of form in the league will soon see us struggling again, so I'm happy we're playing the second string. Mind you I believe the total cost of this second string is well above the total cost of the first team!

The Cup means sod all to me, its all about the league. I hear all this guff about greatest cup competition in the world and how its still as relevant as it was thirty and forty years ago. Not for me, even when we were down in the lower tiers. Just an annoying interruption to the normal bread and butter.

I might raise an eyebrow if we got to the semis, and might even watch it on the telly if we get to the final!

As the Preston North end manager just said the FA cup is still magical to teams like his.
8-)
In the end it also matters to teams like arsenal and Manchester United because that is all they have a chance of winning!

Not a good return to Old Trafford for Jaap Stam.
