It's that time of year. I've been pretty slow on the uptake. Like most of the time. Sincerest apologies to Jorge Mendes. Presumably I have been holding him up at the busiest time of his year.

Newcastle make an undisclosed bid for Mexican U20 trio, Knees Bent, Arms Stretched and Ra Ra, dubbed the new Charlton, Law and Best by nobody you've ever heard of, but this has only alerted Man Utd supremo Jose Moanreno who may offer £857 million for the untested 3 amigo's, with Man City boss Pet Lip keen to sign them for the reserves so that nobody else can buy them

Sunderland might take a sizable bite out of their debt by selling Pickford to Everton for 30 million :o

A team outside the top six paying that amount of money for a young inexperienced keeper that's had one half decent season playing for a club that ended up bottom of the Premier League.

Not saying he isn't a prospect but this is just another example of the ridiculous money sloshing around in this league.

Don't think there is a fixed fee, just what gets negotiated.

The agent seems to get a sizeable cut these days! But I guess that's because he gets a share of the player's wages, so the higher the wages he can negotiate the more dosh he gets.

No thanks.

These rumours were around at the end of the season, seem to have resurfaced.

Too old and too slow for me.

Victor Lindelof signs for United for 31 million.

The defensive answer for United?

Saints supporters where I work aren't surprised, home form was pretty awful, only scored 17 goals in the league and often to be heard chants of "you don't know what you're doing!"

8th and a league cup final would suggest the guy had an idea though. Played the better football in that final as well.

Soton have a high turnover of managers in recent years, normally they are poached, it must have been a nice change to have given one the boot instead!

:laugh :laugh

Im sure that the fans when in league one would not have believed a few years later they would be sacking a manager that got them 8th in the premier league.
