If Wenger offered Ozil to Newcastle for £8.7M, we'd miss out on the deal by insisting that we pay it in stages over several years

Lukaku maybe off to Man Utd after they hijack Chelsea's attempts to sign him
feels a bit weird to say the fee is only going to be £75M but it was being suggested it could top the fee they paid for Pogba

Looks like Rooney is going in the opposite direction.
The Lukaku signing ends any interest Utd had in Morata but it's debatable whether there was any interest at all.

It is, because he isn't even that good.
Blows hot and cold.
Often completely disappears out of games, other times he is unstoppable.
75m for inconsistency, not for me.
Good business for Everton as they go a long way to balance their summer transfer book.

could be a good signing still
hes not that old altho played alot of games since he started so early
dont like using this term but will depend how hungry he still is and how everton use him

There is talk that United are also covering some of his wages.
United have got 2 huge earners of their playing staff this summer. Between them Zlatan and Rooney cost over £600,000 a week.
Rooney has not retired from internationals, so mayb that might drive him on, to perform again and get back into the national team.
