after losing out on Lukaku to Man Utd, Chelsea look to be signing Morata for £60M who had been linked with Man Utd most of the summer

i dont like the guy but Costa was pretty successful for Chelsea but seems Conte just doesn't want him

Newcastle have submitted a £250M bid for Neymar

£10M up front with the rest to be paid for in installments from any merchandising profit they make, or 100 years, whichever comes first

Player will be offered 60 quid a week and all the pies he can eat, with heavily discounted seats made available for his personal use at the 2018 magic weekend, plus any Rugby world cup matches held at SJP in the future, and a courtside folding chair for every home game played by the Newcastle Eagles.

Mike Ashley, whose money is as good as anyone's, has given Barcelona 7 days to meet him in Shearers Bar in order to agree the deal or he's taking his *modded* money somewhere else!

and Neymar has to prove he's not a lightweight by surviving the drinking at a sports direct board meeting before he's allowed to play for newcastle!

Dunno what the attraction is for Neymar at PSG...dosen't need the money, earns a truckload, and the standard of ligue 1 is dire...not competitive at all..

but he wouldn't be overshadowed by Messi if he goes to PSG

for some reason that seems to be important to him

then there's the ego trip associated with being the most expensive player by a thousand miles, which I suspect makes your knob bigger than anyone else's, although I'm not sure about the last bit

Newcastle are close to a deal that would see Christiano Ronaldo come to tyneside.

Ashley has assured him that if he becomes a Newcastle player he will never ever have to worry about paying the taxman again for as long as he is with the club

Of course, Ronaldo doesn't realise that Ashley intends to put him on a zero hours contract and pay him less than the minimum wage

Well it looks like our first ever £100m transfer will nearly break the 200 mark.

Newcastle Utd have been linked with 47 goalkeepers this summer..... and all because Rafa was interested in being re-united with Pepe Raina back in May

How is Darlow going?

decent number 2.. can do a competent job, but prone to spells where he makes poor goalkeeping decisions. Rob Elliott is a more accomplished goalie, imo. Tim Krul is still on the books after a loan spell in Holland last year, and in theory is our most experienced keeper. Sels is out on loan this year, and then there is Freddie Woodman, the only one of them with a world cup winners medal.

And the next person part of that deal with forest, Jamaal Lascelles, can you see him start to push for an England spot?

Not while he plays for Newcastle

If he played for Man U he could be half as good a player and he'd already have played by now.

I haven't seen that much of him (Darlow's errors always featured on highlights packages), but people I know who go every week say that he can go walkabout a bit too. Which makes sense because there were short bursts throughout last season where Newcastle had poor short runs that allowed the chasing pack to keep on catching them up

good players both, but perhaps need to be more consistent.

Both are still young, will be interesting to see how they develop over the coming season.
