The beautiful game!

BBC have just stated that Saido Berahino has not scored for 29 games :no

For a little while there whilst at West brom it looked like he was goign to score a lot of goals. Then he went on srike trying to force a move and suddenly he does not seem to have found that form again. A few years ago, but to much to young? Still has plenty of time to turn it around but he might be another SWP....

Yep, apparently Andy. Whatever the true figure is, its around 30 games.

Yuppie, not sure why. He did look to have lots of skill and potential, I think if I had to guess its a mix of his own behaviour refusing to play and then not really being bothered when he did, he got into a rut hes been unable to shake off. Id expect he bangs in a couple of goals soon enough, and then get some confidence back.... or alternatively, he will be sold and possibly take a drop down a division

Leicester are back in the relegation mix i reckon. Got to win this one Bournmouth

Must admit I had it as a six pointer before the game.

Spurs up next, although at Wembley, where I reckon we'll have a better chance of possibly nicking a point.

Well that is the easiest away game of the season. 3 points for bournemouth........

Talking of forgotten players, Fabien Delph is doing very well for City against Chealski

City deservedly take the lead, this could pretty much clinch a two horse race at the top if it wasn't already.

Not easy on paper, but I think Spurs are much better away from home at the moment.

Maybe Kane will pick up a niggle from the England games!

City look like the early favourites at present.

Not sure if United are contenders yet. The highest placed team they have played was southampton, who are 12th, and were lucky to get the win against them.

They have played in the league so far West ham (15th), Swansea City (18), Leicester (17), Stoke (13), Everton (16), Southampton (12), and today Crystal palace who are 20th. Im not sure United could have had an easier start to the league than that. Not one team in the top half of the league after 7 games.

The city team looks stable now at the back, and that midfield is impossible to get the ball off....kevin de bruyne is taking his game to another level, for me he's now comfortably the best player in the league

8 goals from our last 180 chances, going into today. A conversion rate of 4.44%

So I guess I should be pleased today. 1 goal from 21 chances. A conversion rate of 4.78%.

God it's difficult being a Saints fan right now. 70% possession today. And that's on the back of 60%, 66%, 55%, 53%, 54%, and 61% this season. So we keep the ball fine. We just do very little with it - and when it does lead to a chance, we invariably don't score.

January can't come quick enough. Nor a new director of football.

But would you rather be a Stoke supporter, or West Brom for that matter?

If you keep creating then you're doing alot right. What happened to Gabiadini? Wasn't he supposed to be the solution to all your goal scoring problems?

We seem to have got it a bit more sorted at the back, and except against the big teams, we tend to have more possession and create more opportunities. Just not scoring, which is odd with Defoe and King up front.

I've got my doubts about the former still being able to do it at this level, we shall see.

Another 4-0 scoreline to Man Utd. Bookies have probably stopped taking odds on that score before each match now.
