For me Jose at United always seemed like a strange fit. 2 Trophies last year, chance for another one this year and possibly finishing second.

But I really do not enjoy watching them play now.

Perhaps Jose will end up at PSG, he seemed to be suggesting that a few months ago.

You sound like Jose himself. The Europa League win was a bit of a joke, something that sounds in theory an achievement, but look at what they actually did. And English cup, was it the league cup? Its a glorified B competition.

They beat a Russian team (Rostov) that have won only 6 games in the Russian league this year in nearly 30 games. They played St Etienne from France, who finished 10th that year and are the same this year. Celta Vigo are in the bottom half of La Liga this year and finished right down the league last year (United scraped by them). Anderlecht, who got hammered this year in the Champions League (even Celtic destroyed them 3-0).....

The finalists, Ajax, sold their apparent best player to Everton..... hes played 4 league game apparently. And not because he was injured. Says it all really.

Jose should be judged on CL and the League only, with the money hes spending they should be beating teams like Sevilla.

I certainly don't disagree with that. But the silverware last year gave the United supporters hope, even though they were not playing the "United way". I'm no fan of Jose as most of my posts have probably shown over time.

If City do win the title by beating United, it will be interesting to see how Jose reacts.

Im thinking that the United directors are regretting the contract extension now.

3 points for Newcastle, moves them up to 12th in the table, but more importantly most of the teams around them lost or drew. Safety looks a whole lot closer than it did 3 games ago.

Huddersfield can't buy a goal right now, Southampton are really poor, WBA are already relegated, Stoke can't win, Swansea are majorly inconsistent and Palace keep losing when playing okay.

Yep Newcastle are pretty safe now and so are we after Defoe's late leveller.

Newcale have only lost 2 games this year, and they were to Man City and Liverpool. Ashley will see that as an excuse to sell some more players in the summer

Pardew has left West Brom

oh dear, how sad, never mind

presumably West Brom didn't think that long term he was the man to led them to a 4th place trophy

I didn't want to jinx it, but I had a feeling that Newcastle were going to get something today

3 points does it, for me. Never mind what happens over the rest of the season, I'm absolutely happy that they are now safe.

City should have been 6-0 up at half time. Then united for the first time in ages looked like a multi million quid team.

Amazing isn't it..... 2-0 down, they threw the rubbish tactics out the book and looked a brilliant footballing side for half an hour.

Weirdly, it was the game that should condemn mourinho to the sack. Rubbish until he was forced to allow this team to express themselves. When they did, they played sumptuous football. And rarely, pogba looked like a 100 mill player for once

Sterling missed about 5 sitters, he'll never convince me.

Pogba played well for about 10 minutes, he's still a massively overrated player.

Mourinho is still talking rubbish after the game.
