Actually while on the subject of women's football........
the BBC should be doing what a good public service provider ought to be doing... not ignoring live football because they can't afford to compete with ITV and Sky, but taking the bull by the horns and showing live domestic women's football week in week out. The women are showing much greater skill and fitness levels than they ever did in the past. Greater exposure would only help in the development of womens football, I feel.

It is telling that while British sportsmen and women continue to do well this summer in cricket, tennis, rugby, cycling, athletics, etc, British footballers of both genders continue to wallow in mediocrity....that tells me that the British psyche needs to become less obsessed with football, and to focus a little bit more on other sports, where Britons are doing so much better.
