Unlucky girls.

Have to say though, I don't understand all the hype around our keeper. She kept on moving way too early in that shoot-out. The French girls just had to wait, and roll the ball into the other corner.

That Bardsley keeper was moving like a headless chicken in those shootouts, inviting France to slot home with comfort.

If England had won yesterday's match, it would have been a complete hold up.

Great grit and determination by the English team though.

Did anyone see the French goal?

Our keeper actually dived about a second after the ball went in the net. :facepalm

Yeah I was going to post that yesterday. Ball seemed to be in the net by the time she went for it.

She missed that one, but actually stopped a penalty and at least 5 French goals, so she wasn't that bad, (although I think she was very lucky).

I never saw the game just the goals and the missed pen.

I reckon the coach told her to dive it was that late :-)

The penalty against the USA by Brazil was a disgraceful decision, and the retake was a joke.

Talk about a totally rigged match. All hail FIFA, especially if you are Brazilian.

Nah penalty was deserved she didn't play the ball she obstructed the brazilian girl completely. But the retake was a big mistake.
