After 15 minutes into their World Cup match, England and Mexico are still goalless....

Fara Williams scores a good header from a corner, and it's 1-0!

Ocampo scores a long-range equalizer....

The USA faced off against North Korea in the women's World Cup the other day, with the Americans winning 2-0. The North Korean coach offered an excuse quite unlike any I've ever heard...

I might use that one myself... I missed out on being a sporting god because I was struck by lightening! :stupid

One has to wonder what the ref was thinking.

How is that not a penalty? Very funny though, and Australia still won 3-2. Australia and controversial decisions against them in football world cups. I think i might start a conspiracy theory on that :rasta

I'm viewing this at work with no sound so if there has been no referee's whistle prior to that handball, it has to be the strangest thing I've ever seen in football.

No whistle, not even a noise. I think the player just had a brain freeze. But what was the ref thinking?

In their best game of the tournament so far, England beat highly-fancied Japan 2-0 thru goals from Ellen White and Rachel Yankey to top the group....

England hanging on against France, great match.

Those women soccer players make great ball handlers.
