The English Football League/National League 2017/2018

The beautiful game!

Meanwhile Bradford's playoffs are fast fading after another defeat, this time to Doncaster Rovers who won 2-0. Really frustrating as Bradford had two good chances to go 2-0 up in the 1st half and Doncaster's attack was generally weak. The only person who remotely looked like scoring for Rovers was John Marquis and he had a free header around 75 minutes to get the ball rolling.

4pts racked up this calendar year for the Bantams - injuries to players have not helped but recruitment during January has been poor and it is showing with the lack of strength in depth, particularly up front.
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

You know it's international week when Barrow v Hartlepool is the live TV game. No offence Aidan!

Rooting for the monkey hangers, just equalised on the stroke of halftime.

Hartlepool all over Barrow in this second half, a blast from the past has just come on for Barrow, Grant Holt.

Due to the small crowd noise the mics are picking up the players, numerous swear words being broadcast.

Commentator hasn't apologised once! Maybe he doesn't need to after 9 o'clock!

2-1 win for Hartlepool.

What a blooming decent game that was.

If they continue to play like that for the remainder of the season, they won't go down.

Ah ok, so theres a separate thread. I get you now.

Yep. Agree.... acting like a bloody baby. What does he have to complain about, the ref gave both pens, not Nunos fault his players are as good from the spot as the average England international.

Think his issue was the Wolves manager ran straight on the pitch to celebrate without shaking his hand at the full-time whistle, Tony Pulis seemed to get annoyed by it last week too when he did the same thing.

Totally agree with him. Nuno has no class... he should be like Warnock and just tell people where to go.

Nothing to do with sour grapes, ay?

Your side survives two penalties in injury time, the whistle goes immediately after the second one, top of the table clash, the win almost certainly guarantees the title and promotion to the premier league, not surprising he gets a tad carried away and charges onto the pitch in the heat of the moment.

He did realise he went a bit over the top, and tried to apologise to Warnock, and shake his hand, and the big baby was having none of it.

Then he apologized profusely in the interview afterwards and admitted he has to try and rein himself in in those moments.

Ten minutes later old sulky Warnock still acting like a 3 year old says he will deliberately avoid him and suggests Nuno should go home as quick as possible.

Here's hoping Cardiff get caught in the chase for automatic promotion!

I don't mind heat of the moment reactions but Warnock was still acting like a t.at after it had died down. This is the same bloke who said something along the lines of "welcome to English Football" to Pep after Sane had been on the receiving end of a horrible challenge in a cup game.

Delph got sent off in the following game against Wigan for a challenge that I thought was no more than a yellow and Warnock sticks his oar in and claims that the tackle was ten times worse than Bennett's on Sane.

The git, for me Bennett's tackle on Sane for cynical and viciousness alone is probably the worst challenge I've seen this season.
