Fulham are now two points behind Cardiff, but have played a game more.

However, Cardiff away to Aston Villa on Tuesday and Fulham home to Reading, so possible Cardiff may be out of the automatic promotion places come 9.35pm.

Think probably in top 5 goals I've ever seen
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."

He flicked it up slightly behind him so his technique to produce what he did was stunning.

Goal of the season without a doubt.

Big mention for Havant & Waterlooville winning the National League South last Saturday and gaining promotion to the National League for the first time. Can't remember them ever being in the fifth tier before, even when they were separate clubs.

Their biggest claim to fame is leading Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in the fourth round of the FA Cup in 2008.

Lee Bradbury, ex Bournemouth manager and Man City player, is their current manager, and the squad comprises a fair few ex Bournemouth players.

Looking forward to see how they do against Aidan's team next season!

The National League Playoffs are just ruddy brilliant

6230 packed into Edgeley Park for the Eliminator between Stockport County and Chorley. The latter soaking up pressure and sneaking it 1-0.

Then onto the Semi-Final where Chorley travelled to Harrogate. Once again Chorley soaking up pressure and took the lead through a defensive lapse, but went down to 10 men on 44 minutes for a dangerous tackle.

Harrogate set up camp in the Chorley half like keen teenagers going to their first 3 day festival. A shot thundered off the bar, looked like it went over the line, referee blew her whistle and gave a penalty for a goal denying foul where only a yellow card was issued. Harrogate equalised from the spot on the hour.

Chorley did venture out into Harrogates half late on and nearly sneaked a winner. However Harrogates persistence paid and won it in the 94th minute, pure scenes and jubilation amongst the players and fans. Experiences and pressure ever seen in Premier League U23 matches or Checkatrade Trophy group stage matches. Non league football is where it's at now, it feels like when I was watching football pre Roman Abramovich.
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott
