Didn't look like he was going to score and I think he was praying for contact, and it came, albeit slight.

I know Liverpool will want Roma, but I reckon they could do well against an all out attacking side club like Madrid, with the dodgy defence.

You just knew that would happen. Any 50/50 call always goes Real Madrid's way.

It was more than 50/50 though. Most are saying that it was a penalty.

It is a contact sport and I guess it comes down to how much there was and how it affected his chance to score.

I think Lucas had blown the chance before the contact came, he didn't know whether to head it or kick, and in the end froze and hoped to feel contact so that he could dive.

Definitely a close call, I wouldn't have given it, but I can see why the ref did. I doubt he would have done if he was in Juventus!

By the letter of the law it was probably a red card for the defender as well. I sensed Oliver had been starting to lose control with the number of yellow cards he was issuing but he did well with the penalty situation when he was practically mauled by five Juventus players.

No room for sentiment even if it was Buffon's last CL game!

Liverpool will be happy with that semi final draw.

Roma did knock out Barca and looked against Chelsea. It will be a tough one.

It will be tough, but they still would have chosen that draw.

May turn out to be more difficult then they think, as Liverpool fair better against attacking sides that leave space for them to counter, and tend to struggle against defensive teams.

We shall see.

Expect Liverpool to win over two legs, but then again, Roma have knocked out A.Madrid, Barcelona and Shaktar (the latter knocked out Napoli and beat Man City, so hardly a pushover). They beat Chelsea as well didnt they?

Hoping its a close tie.

Anyone else watching the Salah and Fermino show?

The former is currently on the same level as Messi or possibly better.

True, although they could probably afford to concede one or two.

Can't see Liverpool not scoring in Roma
