Must admit I thought Madrid would struggle in that tie, and they seemed to be in trouble after going 1-0 down, but decent comeback, and probably favourites to go through now.

Liverpool are the top goal scorers in the champions league this season. And they have a shot at winning this season. Its just a good thing West Brom are not in the CL.

There is the real chance that 4 of the final 8 teams will come from England.

If PSG do not go through, what next for them? How much more money can they throw at the situation.

Their manager will be gone if they don't get past Madrid, but I think they will.

It'll be great if we can get 4/5 teams through to the quarters.

Im not sure Spurs will get past Juve, can see Juve nicking a goal and winning 1-0.

Barcelona should be to strong for Chelsea, but one never knows which Chelsea will turn up. And as for United, in theory should be to strong for Seville, and im sure Jose now sees the champions league as his priority.

One thing for certain, City and Liverpool are through. United should get through and Hopefully Spurs can hold their nerve........

Problem for PSG is that Neymar hasnt settled in well, and he's all but stated directly that leaving Barca to play in a dead league was a mistake. He'd go back in a heart beat I think. Its arguable if he will be the last top level player they are able to buy. Can see them selling him for a similar amount for what they bought him for in the summer.

In the quarters teams from the same league can play each other for the first time.

Haven't decided if that's a good or a bad thing in terms of English teams progressing. It guarantees one going through for sure, but prevents the chance of two progressing. On the other it stops both going out!

Four English teams in the semis, what are the odds for that?

Liverpool vs City semi would be very interesting for the neutrals..

Very poor goal to concede for Chelsea, but it was an even game.

Terrible pass across the goal by Christensen, poor choice by Azpilicueta to go to ground and a weak effort by Courtois diving in front of his defensive cover.

Apart from that Chelsea played a very compact game and barely gave Barcelona a sniff. Shame that one team lapse pretty much scuppered everything.

Barcelona will probably rip them to shreds at the Nou Camp in the second leg, but you never know. Chelsea have done well there on occasion before.

Conte is a very decent coach, but his players don't always deliver.

I remember Barcelona played a similar pass across the goal in the first half, different outcome. Chelsea aren't Barcelona although one or two of their players could get in the Barcelona team.
