A bit of a massacre so far.
Liverpool were a fair few up in the previous game too.

Shocking defending by Manchester City
Even if they miraculously come back from this I can't see them winning the champions league.
How the bookies had them as favourites at the start of the knockout stage is beyond me.

Almost like allowing offside goals, having your bus attacked, and getting no fouls go your way is how you stop City.....

All City second half so far.

Sane has had the worst game of football from a single player I can remember.

He's an exceptional talent but his decision making is often extremely poor.
Can only improve on that score.

3-0, any chance for City in the second leg?
Can see Liverpool scoring, then City will need at least 5!

What punishment for Liverpool for their fans smashing Man Citys bus?

so much for Klopp's (is that his name?) creating their own history statement... the fans have done that for him

I believe it was known the fans were planning to do this, the police changed the route (and then told everyone where they were going
) because fan groups had apparently campaigned to turn up and do it. Liverpool did nothing to stop it, not a word to say "ok this is a stupid idea, stop it".
Think it had a big effect on the game. City looked stunned first half.

City went 4-1 down last time they came to Anfield, through a generally similar sloppy defensive performance, so not sure the attack on the bus had much to do with it.
