Liverpool could hammer Madrid, providing they get through.

About 5 mins of actual football in the last 20 of this game

Yep. Especially liked the moment abot 75 minutes in when there was a scramble in the box, the ball went out the area for a goal kick, and three players instantly threw themselves to the deck once the ball was cleared. I just dont understand why refs dont play 25 minutes injury time. All it needs is 2-3 games in quick succession where a ref does that, problem solved.

Especially when Valquez went down after Bayern took the free kick.... Real trying to get them to kick it out.... I would have played on, screw the guy. Its not like Marcelo didnt try to challenge for the dead ball earlier in the game when a Bayern player went down.

Yep, if Bayern has taken their chances over that semi final they would have won about 10-4 on aggregate.

Madrid don't look much cop at the back or going forward. They could always usually rely on the latter but a few aging players making them looking less potent than in recent years.

For all Liverpool's potency up front they are still weak at the back. Van Dijk is quality, Robertson is okay but Arnold and especially Lovren are weak, and Kyrgios in goal is diabolical.

well done Liverpool. Should be a cracking final! Both sides awful at the back, but with so much talent going forward

Madrid too smart

when you are up against a one man team, just take that one man out.... easy

beautiful spanish football, eh?

ticky tacky... or just tacky?

I haven't seen the game, you understand, just the wipe out from beautiful football's Sergio R

Harry Kane better hope that England don't have to play beautiful football Spain..... he might very well miss a big chunk of next season if he does

Anyone who reads my posts on football knows my opinion on that thug Ramos. I'm left in no doubt it was intentional, and he's basically just assaulted him.

Let's see uefa do the right thing and ban him for a long time.

Funny isn't it. Someone judo throws a player and breaks his shoulder, nothing. Some spits at someone and lifetime bans enter the equation

well, that can't be right.... he's Spanish... they play beautiful football... flowing, gorgeous, delicately skillful football.... it's just wondrous, surely?

it must be... Spanish... one word to describe beautiful football perfectly!

you might as well call the all blacks a bunch of spear tackling thugs.... that can't be right, either

Ramos antics later in trying to get Mane sent of as well should earn him a ban. No contact was made, the video evidence is there, so someone up high do the right thing.

If you didn't know the guy's record you'd have probably said fairly innocuous challenge that led to a serious injury to another player, but if you're aware of his history you can be fairly certain his intention was to take Salah out the game by ensuring he held onto his arm as they both hit the ground meaning as they rolled over there was a large likelihood of shoulder ligament damage or dislocation. A fair player would have let go at ground impact to ensure serious injury was minimised.

24 red cards in his career presents no other conclusion that he is one of the dirtiest men to ever play the game.

Zidane wins a third straight Champions League as manager....
:salute
If I'm reading the stats correctly, only three managers have won the Champions League three times - Bob Paisley, Carlo Ancellotti, and now Zinedine Zidane.
