Manchester United with a comfortable 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

They play Brighton next.

I understand VAR was a bit of a joke during the game, lines drawn on the screen that weren't even parallel to the markings on the pitch to determine an offside.

All comes down to frames on the picture, how many are there per second, and when does the ball actually leave the players foot to decide on the offside. Those decisions should stay with the lino, too close to call.

It was. The right decision was made in the end but they took a long time to clarify it.

Leicester vs Chelsea in the quarter finals.

Did they though, I understand it was a kneecap that was offside, and how can they be 100% sure that they have the right frame?

Blooming ridiculous, I would have given the goal, lino gave the benefit and it was too close to call even with all the technology. Attacking side is supposed to get the benefit of the doubt same as a batsman in cricket with a very close run out call.

It's worth remembering that arms and hands don't count in an offside decision, because Mata's arms were definitely in front!

It was off by the letter of the law, given the footage we've seen. That said, please scrap this technology BS.

As soon as Alli came on I told Mrs DF that he'd go down for a pen before the match was out

It's the only thing he does these days

Come the world cup he'll get sent off for simulation....probably in a KO match that we then lose...... mark my words

Rochdale equalise.... Justice!

Alli will have to go down like a fairy in the replay as well now

It was a definite pen, footman.

It was on this occasion, but it's the way he goes down, that I have a problem with. He is busy developing himself a reputation for going down easy, whether he's simulating or not, and come the WC refs will be watching out for it. Wouldn't it be typical if he got a yellow for going down and then picked up a second yellow later? Especially since your average South American or Spaniard fools the ref so much better and gets off scott free.... particularly in matches against England

Hey ho..... it might never happen.... but I will point this out in the summer if it does

Alli does look like the sort of player who'll have a Beckham/Rooney moment.

Argy bargy between the two managers after Delph gets sent off for a very debatable red card just before half time.

Pep unhappy that the ref had the yellow card out first and then changed his mind, and previous tackles in other games on his players that have received begger all punishment.

Not sure what the difference is between the Delph tackle and the tackle earlier in the game by a Wigan player that ended up with studs in Aguero's thigh. Probably that first 10 minutes of a game rule, you have to murder someone before you'll get sent off!

Flipping eck, Wigan 1-0 up, 10 minutes to go.

Been all Man C second half, Wigan's first chance, they score.
