went to the FA Cup final today with my 8 year old - what a disappointing result and game. Both sides were poor and the first half was possibly the most boring I've ever seen :no

Sorry to hear that Red, I didn't watch it, but my brother said it was the worst final he'd watched in a long time.

Windsor clearly overshadowed Wembley yesterday.

I only watched the 2nd half and tbh I've seen worse. With those two coaches it was never going to be a classic.

IF only it was possible for two teams to lose in a final. Absolute snore yesterday, neither team even tried to win.

that was bad luck, Red, although cup final's are often tedious, nervous, unadventurous affairs with just the odd fluke or dodgy pen separating the teams

still.... you got to go to a packed Wembley, so hopefully the atmosphere and the excitement and the experience will have compensated for the rubbish that those players served up. I'm sure the boy will always remember the day his dad took him to cup final day

just seen the Jones foul to concede the pen

dear me.......... and I reckon Southgate would like to start him as one of the three centre backs, too.

what could possibly go wrong?

I would have taken Smalling over Jones

Agree, what has Smalling done wrong?

Thought he was first choice centre back, not that I've watched any England games recently.
