The lack of play acting, diving and surrounding the ref is very refreshing.

Could be goals at both ends, which maybe isn't the % was to play when ahead with fifteen minutes to go. A lot of space out there.

England might be a young side ; but they're playing with a lot of maturity. Yes the odd mistake still - which might be costly against a better opponent - but I can't remember seeing a team I trust to get the job done ; since...about 1966 :)

I fancy a rematch with Belgium . First XIs this time...

Pickford probably just squeaked MOM today, but McGuire and Trippier have been superb so far throughout the campaign.

I was totally wrong about Southgate, he has seriously got something about him, and the players clearly are massively on board with him.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm a now a Sterling convert, he misses absolute sitters but he does so much more for the side, work rate is second to no one, and he creates space for others players.

I was totally relaxed before the game as everything we are achieving is a bonus to my thought they wouldn't get out the group.
