Brazil not getting it all their own way in the first half...

Certainly they've had more of the play than Costa Rica ; but haven't really come that close to scoring yet . We have had a few upsets already ; while this one stays nil all there is potential for another surprise.

Well it might have something to do with Neymar blasting over when it was hard not to hit the target.

If that was no penalty, then Neymar must be booked for diving?

Feel for Costa Rica. Not 100% sure, but does Firmino foul the defender as he sets up the winner?

Coutinho to the rescue again.
:salute
Neymar finally comes good, right when I was telling my friend he should have been subbed.
:lmao

that was my first thought, but the player did have a little tug at his shirt, albeit not enough of a touch to concede the penalty, and it was a pretty brave decision to overturn the decision, so I guess we let it go at that. Plenty of referees would have stuck with the original decision

speaks volumes about Neymar, though.

Brazil deserved to win that...... no need to try and cheat.... perhaps the 'best player in the world' will remember that next time.... stop going down like a fairy in the box.... just put it in the back of the net

Well Neymar was rubbish, regardless of the late tap in.

Been a disgrace in this tournament. Diving everywhere, losing his temper..... never was like that at Barca. Paris has changed him

I'm looking forward with interest to the Iceland/Nigeria game

Referee dealt with Neymar superbly, and was pretty excellent throughout. See him a few times before, from memory always seems to do well.

Wondering what the Neymar tears were all about at the end. I guess it's possible they related to certain issues outside the world of football, but maybe it's down to him crying like baby because he couldn't get his own way during the game.

Yep, had a lot of guts to overturn the penalty. And its part of the Neymar baby act no doubt, he has been like a spoilt brat this tournie.
